• SMO with FRACGP and ED experience

Located an hour south of Cairns, Queensland (QLD), this is a small 50-bed hospital offering the following health services:

• Accident & Emergency
• Acute care
• Aged care
• Palliative care
• Physiotherapy
• Post-natal care
• Radiography
• Subacute care
• Speech Pathology
• Mental Health
• Women’s Health

This is the first public health facility in the Far North to achieve accreditation for its combined GP and public health model of care.

Location Information

The drive from Cairns to the hospital is down an idyllic stretch of coast inhabited by the Cassowary bird. Although small, this region is full of hidden surprises, and unforgettable tropical experiences.
