Specialist Consultant

Locum cover is required for:

• 3 - 30 October 2022
• 2 December 2022 - 6 January 2023

Position Details:

• SMO with FRACGP and ED skills  
• The workload include ED, GP services and inpatient care. 

This is a small 22-bed public hospital surrounded by a tropical landscape and nestled halfway between the larger centres of Cairns and Townsville.

• Obstetrics and gynaecology
• Restorative care services
• Palliative care
• Pathology
• Radiography
• Sonography
• Pharmacy
• Specialist clinics
• Allied Health Services

Location Information

With Mission Beach and Dunk Island close by, there is a myriad of exciting pursuits to be experienced around this area. Known internationally as having some of the best white water rafting in the world, this town attracts lots of tourists. 

There are opportunities to partake in reef and river fishing, parachuting, paragliding sailing and horse riding.
