• Covering: Inpatient Medical Ward
• PGY5+

This is a level 3 acute care rural hospital based 190km south of Brisbane. The hospital cares for over 2800 patients every year, undertaking over 940 surgical procedures and 14500 emergency attendances annually.

Location Information

The hospital is located in a town in the Northern Rivers of NSW, around 3 hour’s drive from Brisbane. It is a pleasant country town with a number of historic buildings, ranging from the Victorian to Art Deco era of the 1930s. 

Today, the region is known as 'The Beef Capital', and has become a thriving rural centre relying on the region's cattle and timber industry.
